This concrete compact laminate worktop upstand measures 3m x 95mm x 12mm and features a concrete effect design that perfectly complements our range of Compact Laminate Concrete Work Surfaces. Upstands are a great option can help protect your walls whilst concealing the join between them and your work surfaces.

Our concrete effect worktop upstand has been manufactured from the same high-quality material as our compact laminate worktop and so is completely waterproof and resistant to heat, wear and impact. The realistic concrete effect is ideal for a contemporary kitchen design.

To install the concrete effect worktop upstand, silicone adhesive should be applied to the back and bottom edge. Firmly press into place to ensure it is secure, before wiping away any excess adhesive for a clean finish. If required this upstand can be cut-to-size easily.

Please note: This item should not be fitted directly behind a hob without additional protection. Please refer to the hob manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure that your installation complies with safety standards.

Finished Edges

All of our compact laminate worktops are delivered with square edges that have been sanded. For an optimum smooth and glossy finish, we recommend polishing all cut edges with a high grit sandpaper and rubbing in linseed oil with a microfibre cloth.

Our Two Person Home Delivery Service will deliver to a ground floor room of your choice with clear access on a day that’s convenient for you. Costs start from £29.50 for one worktop plus £15 for each additional worktop (charges capped at 3 worktops) – order before 12 noon for next-day delivery. If your items do not arrive as expected, please notify us within 2 calendar days of delivery so we can arrange repair or replacement. Should you change your mind once you have received your goods, please inform us within 14 calendar days of delivery – find out more on our returns information page.
