An upstand is mounted at the back of your worktop to provide continuity between your worktop and wall. This is an easy and tidy alternative to precision cutting your worktop to fit against an uneven wall and provides an easy-to-clean surface to guard against spills and splashes.

Finished Edges

All of our solid surface worktops are delivered with semi-finished square edges. For an optimum smooth and glossy finish, we recommend polishing all cut edges with a high grit sandpaper before final installation to achieve a smooth and even finish. Please note that some edges are chamfer finished, but will still require additional finishing:

  • 650mm Wide: 1 x Chamfered long edge
  • 960mm Wide: 2 x Chamfered long edges

Delivery & Returns

Our Two Person Home Delivery Service will deliver to a ground floor room of your choice with clear access on a day that’s convenient for you. Costs start from £29.50 for one worktop plus £15 for each additional worktop (charges capped at 3 worktops) – order before 12 noon for next-day delivery. If your items do not arrive as expected, please notify us within 2 calendar days of delivery so we can arrange repair or replacement. Should you change your mind once you have received your goods, please inform us within 14 calendar days of delivery – find out more on our returns information page.
