Measuring 3m x 95mm x 12mm, this white marble compact laminate worktop upstand features the same effect as our entire Marble Compact Laminate Worktop collection. Installing an upstand helps to protect the surface of your walls and also disguise the join between them and your work surface.

Our white marble effect worktop upstand is completely waterproof and resistant to heat, wear and impact because it has been manufactured from the same high-quality material as our compact laminate worktop. Easy to clean with a soft cloth and warm soapy water, it is a low maintenance addition to any home.

During installation, we advise applying silicone adhesive to the back and bottom edge of the marble effect worktop upstand. Firmly press it into place and wipe away any adhesive that might have been squeezed out of the sides. This upstand can be easily cut-to-size if required.

Please note: This item should not be fitted directly behind a hob without additional protection. Please refer to the hob manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure that your installation complies with safety standards.

We love the look, feel and the practicality of it. Easy to look after and does not stain (we do wipe stains up straight away). Before our oak worktop was dark and showing signs of wear despite being regularly oiled. This worktop looks great with just a wipe with clean water. It has changed the whole look of the kitchen being light and clean and is a delight. I would thoroughly recommend this firm and this product.

All of our compact laminate worktops are delivered with square edges that have been sanded. For an optimum smooth and glossy finish, we recommend polishing all cut edges with a high grit sandpaper and rubbing in linseed oil with a microfibre cloth.

Our Two Person Home Delivery Service will deliver to a ground floor room of your choice with clear access on a day that’s convenient for you. Costs start from £29.50 for one worktop plus £15 for each additional worktop (charges capped at 3 worktops) – order before 12 noon for next-day delivery. If your items do not arrive as expected, please notify us within 2 calendar days of delivery so we can arrange repair or replacement. Should you change your mind once you have received your goods, please inform us within 14 calendar days of delivery – find out more on our returns information page.
