Our laminate worktops are up to approx. 10 cm longer than advertised on arrival in order to protect the worktop from impact during transport. This extra length has no decor and can simply be cut to length before installation.

What’s the maximum unsupported overhang on a laminate worktop?

The maximum unsupported overhang for a laminate worktop is 200mm. This is perfect for a small breakfast bar overhang, giving you extra space without compromising stability.

Can you fit my worktop?

While we don’t offer fitting services, we highly recommend using a registered tradesperson for your worktop installation. A professional will ensure that your worktop is fitted accurately and securely, giving you peace of mind and a perfect finish. Look for tradespeople in your area with good reviews and credentials for a smooth installation process.

How can I fix a bowed laminate worktop?

Assess the Cause: Determine why the worktop has bowed. Common reasons include changes in humidity or moisture content, improper installation, incorrect storage, or structural issues.
Evaluate Damage: Check if the bowing is minor or severe. Minor bowing might be less of an issue and easier to correct.

Do you sell offcuts?

Whenever you customise your worktop using our Worktop Customisation Tool, we will send you all of the pieces that are removed in order to create your perfect shape. Unfortunately, we do not hold or sell any offcuts separately our customer always receives all of the worktop they purchase (apart from any non-viable slivers!). If you want a smaller piece of worktop, our bathroom worktops, are a great option for people looking for a small worktop section.

Delivery & Returns

Our Two Person Home Delivery Service will deliver to a ground floor room of your choice with clear access on a day that’s convenient for you. Costs start from £29.50 for one worktop plus £15 for each additional worktop (charges capped at 3 worktops) – order before 12 noon for next-day delivery. There is an additional £10 charge for deliveries for the next working day. Find out more about this service on our delivery details page.

If your items do not arrive as expected, please notify us within 2 calendar days of delivery so we can arrange repair or replacement. Should you change your mind once you have received your goods, please inform us within 14 calendar days of delivery – find out more on our returns information page.
