Providing a perfect match in both appearance and durability. The upstands are treated with an Osmo Oil Stain to achieve the same deep black finish, highlighting the natural grain of the wood and ensuring a consistent, sophisticated aesthetic throughout your kitchen.

A wooden upstand serves to hide the 5mm expansion gap required when installing any solid wood worktops. They are also essential when fitting timber worktops against uneven walls, as they hide any small gaps offering a more seamless look.

Please note: If you are planning on cutting and finishing your upstands, we recommend purchasing our Osmo Oil Stain 125ml – Black Satin 3590 to ensure the same deep black colour is achieved on the exposed edges.

Finished Edges

All of our wooden worktops are delivered with square edges that are sanded to the same grit as the top surface. This is 120 grit for standard worktops and 180 grit for pre-oiled worktops. You can choose from a wide range of edge profiles when customising your worktops via our worktop customisation tool.

Our Two Person Home Delivery Service will deliver to a ground floor room of your choice with clear access on a day that’s convenient for you. Costs start from £29.50 for one worktop plus £15 for each additional worktop (charges capped at 3 worktops) – order before 12 noon for next-day delivery. If your items do not arrive as expected, please notify us within 2 calendar days of delivery so we can arrange repair or replacement. Should you change your mind once you have received your goods, please inform us within 14 calendar days of delivery – find out more on our returns information page.
