This essential oiling product not only creates a water-resistant barrier to prevent bowing and splitting but also ensures long-lasting protection for your worktop.

Osmo Top Oil is renowned for its superior coverage compared to traditional Danish oils. Its food-safe, breathable, micro-porous finish resists cracking, peeling, and flaking, making it ideal for kitchen surfaces.

The white satin finish provides a unique touch, offering a light, transparent tint that subtly enhances the wood’s natural beauty without overshadowing its inherent charm

Using this product:

  • Worktops should be dry, dust-free and sanded to a maximum 150 grit.
  • Apply two coats for optimal coverage.
  • Allow 8-10 hours between coats.
  • For exposed end grain, like sink cutouts, a third coat is suggested for added durability.
  • We recommend purchasing 500ml of Osmo oil per 3 linear metres of worktop.
  • Recoating is required once water is no longer beading on your worktops, generally, this will be between 1-3 years.

Please note: Freshly oiled wooden surfaces typically require 2-3 weeks to fully cure and properly harden before they can be used normally.

Our Two Person Home Delivery Service will deliver to a ground floor room of your choice with clear access on a day that’s convenient for you. Costs start from £29.50 for one worktop plus £15 for each additional worktop (charges capped at 3 worktops) – order before 12 noon for next-day delivery. If your items do not arrive as expected, please notify us within 2 calendar days of delivery so we can arrange repair or replacement. Should you change your mind once you have received your goods, please inform us within 14 calendar days of delivery – find out more on our returns information page.
